Wandering Around~

Akira wandered deep into the forest with Lunar on her shoulder. She thought that if she were able to find those people who did this to her and her family, she could finally get revenge. Akira stopped and looked down, thinking of the incident that happened 12 years ago. She would never forget the pain or the sight.

Shade jumped right in front of Akira. "We meet again." He said, his wicked smile showing vampire fangs.

Akira jumped back a bit and stared at his fangs. They reminded her of those people that killed her parents.

"What's wrong?" He said, voice so calm. "You seem like you haven't seen a real vampire before."

Akira shook her head. "I-It's nothing.." She said. Unexpectedly, Lunar cut off her powers and Akira started to turn into her real form. "L-LUNAR!" She yelled, as soon as she noticed her hair turning white. Lunar gave Akira a stare, which told her why.

"Another vampire." Shade said, grinning slightly wickedly.

Akira looked at Shade and then down at the floor, trying to hold back tears. "I-I'm a monster..." She mumbled as she looked at the blood stains that appeared on her dress.

"How are you a monster?" Shade said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "There are barely any humans that live here. Everyone's different. Even me. There are Casters, and Shapeshifters, and Fairies...."

Akira looked at Shade. "I'm like them..." She said, remembering the 3 vampires that killed her family.

"Like who?" He asked.

Akira glanced at her cat, and she nodded. "Well you see.. these vampires that looked a lot like me, k-killed m-my parents in front of me..." She gulped, trying not to cry, "And when one of them noticed me, he turned me into something like him, a vampire with white hair.".

Shade looked at her for a while. "Ahh yes... Those three.... They killed my my mom, dad, older brother, and little sister. All when I was about... four." He said coldly, with seriousness in his eyes. "I got revenge on them and killed two. I don't know where the third is."

"When I saw the one with the white hair, he seemed invincible, and the other two addressed him as 'Our Lord'" Akira said, looking at Shade's cold, serious eyes.

Shade's gaze sharpened. But his voice was still so calm. "If you see him don't go near him. Don't look at him. Don't even think about him. As much as he coxes you do not listen to him. Run away from him. If he chases you, call for me. Do not call for anyone else. Do not even think about him for a second. Do you understand me?"

Akira didn't really know why, but nodded. "I understand.".

"Good." Shade said, slipping a smile.

Akira smiled back quickly, then watched Lunar as she jumped onto her shoulder, and washed behind her ear a couple of times.

Shade looked at the cat. "Your cat?" He asked.

Akira nodded. She looked once more at her white hair and realized that she was still in her vampire form. She stared at Lunar and she nodded and turned Akira into her human form.

"Why did you yell at your cat before?"

Akira felt comfortable in her human form once again. "She's the one who cut off the power and turned me into my real form.. and I don't like it when she does that.." She answered.

"I like it when she does that." Shade laughed. "I like your vampire form. It's cool."

Akira blushed a little. "U-Usually people freak out when I'm in my vampire form.." She said shyly now.

"This is SkyShatter. Things are different here."

"O-Oh, okay.." Akira said as she looked at Lunar and nodded. She turned into her vampire form and smiled.
