Child of the Forest

Lucy was sleeping in a tree, she had managed to recover her bow and dagger from coustoms as well as her clothes from the hospital. Earlier she had been wondering where her friends were and how they were doing or if she really had any friends at all.

Elevar, leader of the Elves, was taking a walk with her pet horse, owl, and wolf. She made sure that her spear, bow and arrows, and dagger were clean and ready if she needed to fight or hunt. Elevar was looking at the sky when she senced the presents of another elf. She looked in the trees and saw Lucy calmly sitting in one of the oaks. "Hello Lucy. I see you are out of the Hospital." She smiled her friend.

Startled, Lucy woke up and fell out of the tree.

Elever quickly ran over to Lucy to help her up not expecting that kind of reaction. "Are you ok!?" She helped her friend up with a worried look.

"Yeah I'm ok, you just startled me is all." Said Lucy as she sat up.

"OK." Said Elevar with a relieved look on her face. "So how long have you been out of the hospital?"

"I really don't know, I havn't been counting." Said Lucy as she checked her bow to make sure that the fall didn't cause it to crack.

Elevar realized that Lucy was worried that her bow might have cracked. "Ya know if you ever need help with weapons or armor you can always come to me. I can fix anything!" She smiled at Lucy.

"Well I don't see any cracks on the limbs so It ought to still fire well." Said Lucy as she nocked an arrow and handed Elevar a small wooden circular target then backed away about 30 yards, "Do you mind trhowing that in the air for me?" Said Lucy as she got into a fireing stance

Elevar threw the wooden taget as high in the air as she could and looked at Lucy to see her aiming her arrow.

Lucy quickly drew her bow and fired at the target, the string on her bow snapped and cut a gash in her cheek, thankfully though the arrow hit the target. Lucy was holding her hand to her face and looking at her bow, she was bleeding but it would soon heal, "Great, just great." She mumbled.

Elevar ran over and saw Lucy's scrach and brocked bow string. She took a bandaid and put it on Lucy's face and got out new bow string and fixed Lucy's bow. "There you go all better in no time. :D"

Lucy looked at her old bow string, "It didn't just snap it was cut, someone sabotauged my bow!" Said Lucy angrily as she drew her dagger and pointed it at Elevar, "You were the last one to ever go near my bow." She groweled, her insecurity made her untrusting and unable to think strait.

Elevar's face turned anrgly at Lucy. She could not belive that Lucy would point her dagger at the Elven Leader and her best friend. "Why would I do that!? Lucy you have to know that yes we just have arived in the forest and some others may not welcome us. Please remember that?" Elevar got on her horse and her and her pets went home.

Lucy stood there angrily for a while before realizing what she had just done, she fell to her knees clutching her head with her hands, tears started streaming down her face.

Elevar was at home and relized that Lucy must have relized what she had just done. She went back outside, got on Freyr, and headed tward were Lucy was. Once there she saw Lucy crying on her knees. Elevar got of Freyr and went next to lucy. "Lucy it ok. I now its stressfull when were new. But its all ok now." She smilled at her crying friend.

Without thinking Lucy grabbed Elevar in a sort of a hug and started to cry into her shoulder, she had just had a very vivid memory of the day that she had been beaten and raped.

Elevar hugged Lucy as tight as she could and started to cry alittle also. She took out a hankerchiff out of her back pocket and gave it to Lucy. "Its ok! :D" AS she hugged her once again.

"Why?... Why?..." Lucy sobbed.

Lucy was lost in the terrible memory, she was unaware of everything that was happening around her, "Wait please no, don't." Lucy mumbled, her eyes closed.

"Lucy?" Elevar looked at her and noticed her ion shock. She quickly new the only thing she new how to do to get people out of shock. She slaped Lucy 3 times and shook her. "LUCY!! Lucy its OK!! That was the past, this si the future!!!" She smiled "Its the future."

Lucy screamed and woke up as she relived the worst part of the memory. Lucy looked at her belly then back at Elevar, her face was stained with tears.

"Are you ok now?" She looked at she shocked girl.

Lucy nodded slightly.
