Ohai! My twin's in town!

Cai stood in the airport, waiting. Any minute now, his brother would be here. Just then, two Police officers came out, leading a handcuffed boy, who looked alot like Cai, off of a plane. Once they let him go, the boy ran up to Cai. "Finally!" Cai said, smiling, "How long does it take to get off of a plane, Osi?"

Akira was at a vending machine. It was the only thing in the city that gave out strawberry pocky. She turned her head, watching them.

Osi smiled too,"well, I don't know, it depends on how fast the police want you gone." They both laughed.

So true.. She thought, remembering when she had met Shade here. She put in her money and pressed the buttons but nothing happened, she tried to get her money back but again nothing happened. "Are you kidding me? That was the last of my change!" She whined.

Cai turned and saw Akira and said,"Hey Akira! Long time no see!"

Akira turned her head to Cai. "Oh hi again!" She said. Akira turned back around and started mumbling things to the vending machine and pressed the buttons again, only for nothing to happen. She sighed.

"Who's that?" Osi asked."Her name's Akira. I met her a little while back, when I first got here." Cai replied. They walked over to the vending machine. "I think I can help with that, Akira" Osi said.

Akira looked to Osi and nodded. She backed away, giving him room.

Osi moved in front of the machine. He made a electricity in his hand and sent it into the vending machine. The item Akira wanted fell out, and Osi backed away. Cai smiled,"man, I still wish i could do that!"

Akira picked up her pocky and turned around. "Thanks so much Osi!" She said with a smile.

"No problem!"Osi said. He loved manipulating machinery.

Lunar walked out of the shadows and sat infront of Osi's feet and meowed.

Osi crouched down, "Who's this?"

"Oh, that's Lunar, my cat." Akira answered.

"Can I pet her?" Osi said, reaching out his hand.

"Sure." Akira answered.

Osi petted the cat, rubbing her ears. She was so soft!

Lunar purred. Akira turned to Cai. "So this is your twin brother?" She asked.

"Yep. Our father was a caster" Cai said. Osi was obsorbed in the cat.

"I see." Akira said. She looked down at Osi and Lunar.

"So how've you been? I haven't seen you sense I blinded those officers" Cai said.

"Pretty good," She answered, "But I think there is some evil entering Skyshatter. I've been having this feeling for a couple of days now..".

"Really? I geuss I came at a bad time"Osi said, rising from the cat.

"The worst thing is... I think Shade has something to do with it." She said in a quiet voice, looking down at her feet.

"Oh no"Cai said. He had ridden to skyshatter with Shade. "Who's Shade?"Osi asked, thouroghly confused.
