Laying Around~

Akira was laying in a clearing with long grass. She was looking up and thinking about what she had sensed.

Korari had been venturing through the woods enjoying the shade of the trees. When he found himself in the clearing, he looked around to find Akira. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

Akira sighed. "I've just been thinking about this thing I've been sensing for a few days now. It's really been bothering me. This is the place I can focus the most at." She replied. "What about you?" She asked.

"Like I would tell you what I'm doing here." He grumbled. As a matter of fact, he was actually there to think too. But his thoughts were much different than hers. His plans were coming along well, but he needed to get everyone together.

Akira closed her eyes and sensed the same thing before beside her. She opened her eyes. It was still just him there. She narrowed her eyes and stood up. "Tell me, what are you doing here?" Akira asked more seriously now.

He raised an eyebrow at her before smirking. "I think the question is what are you sensing?" He laughed softly to himself. "Because I'm afraid I can't tell you what I'm doing here. It might ruin things."

"You... You're a part of what I've been sensing, and I know it." She said lowly as she stared at him and observed him.

His small chuckle began to grow into a menacing laugh as a large, evil-looking grin appeared on his face. "And what would you be sensing, my dear?" He asked as he took a couple steps toward her.

"Don't come any closer." She hissed at him.

"You know you still haven't answered my question. That's kind of rude, you know." He responded as he continued to move closer until he was only inches away from her.

Akira backed away until her back was pressed against a tree. "You don't need to know what I sensed." She said, ignoring his comment.

He stopped and just stared at her. "Hmmm... So I don't. No matter. Just you wouldn't be able to keep this from crumbling." His smirk returned. "But then again, there is that slight possibility. Maybe I should just kill you now and get it over with."

Akira shivered with fear for a moment. "You wouldn't dare." She said, regaining herself from fear.

Korari suddenly stifled yet another laugh but kept his composure. "Don't ever think I wouldn't. Because I would in a heartbeat. You know, if you cooperate, I could make your death quick. I don't know about painless though."

Akira thought about how she didn't know how to fight, or use powers. She was helpless. She thought that if this did turn into a fight, she'd have to get out alive, for Shade. "I hate people like you." She sighed.

He only grinned at her comment as he reached up and snapped a branch off of the tree Akira was leaning against. He then glanced at the end of it where it had broken, noticing quite a few pointed ends that were sharp to the touch. "This should do quite nicely." He turned his attention back to Akira. "But you know, I'm feeling generous today. I'll heed you a warning. Cross my path again and everyone will be able to see this through your back. In other words, you won't live to see the next day." He then turned to leave, the branch still in his hand.

Akira clenched her teeth. She couldn't let someone as rude as this get away. She quickly ran up to him, preparing to jump if he turned around to stab her.

Instead of attempting to stab her, he just turned around on his heel and took a step back to observe her moves. "So now you want to fight, huh?" He asked.

Akira stopped running and narrowed her eyes. "I'd never let someone as rude as you walk away like that without me hitting you a few times!" She hissed. Akira then remembered how she didn't know how to fight, or even have a weapon at hand.

He suddenly raised his eyebrows. "Hmm... I like your determination." He quickly dropped his branch and stepped back up to her. "How would you like to join me?" He asked softly almost in a whisper. "You could help me with my plans. And to let you know that if you agree, the results could benefit you too."

Akira looked down. If I get in with these people, I could be a secret spy and report their plans to Cai! She thought. She looked back up. "Sure." She replied, looking back up at him.


(OOC: LOL, Is it just me that can imagine him being all like, "Let's seal this deal with a kiss.")

That was too easy... Korari thought as he studied her face for any sign of lies or feigning. Finally, he smiled. "Wonderful. The next meeting will be deeper in the woods near Shade's house. I'll let you know when it is." With a quiet sigh he turned around again and picked up his branch, starting to leave once more. "Just don't back out on me."

Ooc: haha no XD I was thinking the same thing~ but he wouldn't wanna do that to Shade :P

"O-Of course I won't." She said. Akira hoped that she wouldn't meet Shade there.

"Good," he replied. And with that, he was gone.
