Enjoying the full moon.

Akira sat in the grass. She stared up at the full moon. It was a very silent night.

"A-Akira?" A voice sounded, suprised.

Akira turned around to where she heard the voice from in the shadows. "Who's there?" She called.

"Akira, It's Shade..." He called, coming into the moonlight.

"Shade?" She asked. "It's really you! But, how? You lost all memory of me for good last time I saw you.." Akira's voice trailed off as she changed her gaze from Shade to the lake.

"Must be the moon..." Shade sighed. She went up and held Akira close. "I missed you..."

A single tear came down Akira's face. "I missed you so much..." She said, wrapping her arms around him.

OOC: Scar comes in now...

Scar walked into the clearing from the shadows. "Shade, what ARE you doing?" He asked ignorantly.

"Hey, Scar!" Shade said, letting go of Akira. "When did you come to SkyShatter?"

"Hmpth. I guess I'll have to brainwash you again." He sighed, slowly walking up to them.

Akira turned around and stood up. "I will NOT let you even TRY to do that again!" She yelled at him.

"Wait wha?!" Shade said, suprised.

Scar pushed Akira down and quickly grabbed Shade by the arm, dragging him back into the bushes.

"Scar, what the hell are you doing?!" Shade yelled pulling his arm back.

"Come with me." He said, grabbing his arm again.

"Shade! Don't!" Akira yelled to him.

Scar pulled harder, dragging him into the bushes.

Shade took his arm back. "I'm not going with you unless you tell me what's going on. "

"Don't you want to have power? Don't you want to rule Skyshatter with me?" Scar asked, trying to brainwash him.

Shade shook his head trying to clear the thoughts from Scar from his head. "S-Stop that, Scar!"

"Why? You know you want to. You love to kill people and drink their blood. You're a monster, like me." He said.

Shade grasped his head. "N-No... Stop. Stop it! I DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE!" He droped to his knees, as if in pain.

"Shade. You belong to be with people like us. You like killing. You like the smell of blood and fear." He said, still trying to brainwash him.

"No..." Shade whispered. He remembered jouvie, and the people he killed. But, he was enjoying himself. He couldn't decide. He was caught between the two things he loved most. He ran and jumped into the water.

Akira watched. She felt as if she was unable to move.

Scar thought of a way to bring him evil. He walked up to Akira and kicked her a few times, then held her up by the neck. Blood went down her face. She smelled of fear.

Shade felt the fear and came back up. His face was blank, and he went onto shore. He shook his head of the thoughts. "N-No! You.... You stop that. Let.... let her go..." He stuttered, coming in and out of trances.

Akira reached for her pocket and pulled out a dagger, just missing Scar's arm by a hair as he pulled away and let her fall to the ground. He kicked the dagger out of her hand. "I will kill you if you don't cooperate." He said. Akira smelt like fear even more now.
