The docter ran his hand along Lucy's spine untill he reached her lower back, "Just as I thought, the vertibrae in her lower spine have been broken, she won't be able to use her legs again, but it is fixable with a proucedure called a spinal altho spinal surgery is very expensive." The docter said.

Kai's eyes widened. "R-Really?" He said.

"Yes, and I'm sorry to ask but what happened?" The docter said.

Lucy layed there crying.

Kai ignored the doctor. "Lucy, it's going to be alright. I still love you even if you can't use your legs." He said.

"D*mn it! Why Amatril? Why did you have to do this to me?" Lucy sobbed.

"You should lie down too, it lookes like you have a couple of cracked ribs." The docter said.

Kai still ignored the doctor. Lucy was way more important. "I wonder why.." He said.

"Lucy looked up at Kai with tears in her eyes, "Kai, please, your hurt, listen to the docter." Lucy said.

"I'm fine, really. It's you I'm concern about." Kai said. There was still pain in his sides, and it hurted to move, but he didn't care.

"She needs to rest overnight and we can discharge her in the morning, Lie down so I can admit you as a patient so you can stay with your girlfriend overnight, otherwise your going to have to leave because visiting hours are over." the docter said.

"Fine." He said, turning his head to the doctor.

"Thank you, now sit down on the bed beside her and I'l have a nurse come in and help me patch you up." She docter said as he motioned to the bed beside Lucy.

Kai walked over to it and layed down.

The docter called in a nurse and they bandaged up Kais chest, "Ok lie down and we'll put both of you on a morphene drip." The docter said as the nurse hooked Lucy up to an IV.

Kai lied back in his pillow, and watched Lucy.

The docter hooked Kai up to an IV then left.

"I'll never be able to walk again..." Lucy sobbed.

"It's okay Lucy.." He said.

"No it's not Kai! It's not ok! you can still walk and your human so you feel fine in the city but I'm an Elf Kai, we don't feel right in cities and now that I'll have to use a wheelchair to go anywhere I'm stuck in this stupid city with allof the stupid racist people that think I'm a freak just because I'm an Elf! So no Kai is not ok, you have no idea how I feel!" Lucy yelled. "I wish I had never met you then I would still be able to walk." She mumbled.

Kai heard the last part of what she said. "So you'd rather walk then had ever met me? Walking over love?" He asked.

"At least I wouldn't be stuck in this stupid town." She mumbled.

OOC: Just so you know this is Lucys hurt pride talking not her.

"You know, people have to deal with things, but they can turn out rewarding. Would you rather be all alone in the forest? Or with a loved one in the city?" Is all he said before closing his eyes, pretending to go to sleep so he wouldn't have to talk any more.

Luc layed there sobbing untill she fell asleep.

Kai woke up. It was morning already. He looked over to Lucy whom was still sleeping.

"I'm sorry.. Kai." Lucy mumbled, she had been applogising to Kai in her dream for the night before.
