Amber backed away, afraid of what would happen next.

Cai realized what was going to happen, but he couldn't back down from a fight he started. With his gaze locked on Shade, he said to Amber, "get out of here, now."

Amber's curiousity locked her in place, she ignored Cai, wondering what would happen next.

"Aww... why don't you let her stay? I don't want her to miss this." Shade said coldly, his fangs showing while he talked.

OOC: Have her stay. I shall use her later :D

Cai shrugged. "Maybe I don't want her to get hurt," he said calmly, forcing himself to control his temper.

"She can't fight for herself?" Shade said, pretending to be supprised. "What a shame..." He hoped his teasing will eventually cause Cai to attack.

Cai gritted his teeth, fighting the temptation to strike out. He knew he couldn't win aganst Shade without a miracle. "I wouldn't know. But it doesn't make sense to drag her into this when this is clearly our argument," Cai said, just barely keeping the anger out of his voice.

Amber continued to watch silently, frowning a little.

"I can tell you wanna attack me." Shade said. "You afriad your gunna lose?"

Cai shrugged. "I don't know, but your a vampire. That gives you an advantage," Cai said.

"Advantages are overated." Shade said. "Nobody has an advantage over anyone, it's only if your willing to take the challange. And actually try against them."

Now, instead of a yellow, his eyes and hair glowed red, and a softer red light seemed to glow from his whole body. His atempt to control himself was gone now. "Then why don't you fight?" he said, swinging his sword around to hit Shade in the side.

Shade had extrodanary vampire speed. He doged the swing, and sarcasticly smiled. "Oh my, you almost hurt me." Shade said. He tripped Cai. "What a shame..."

That was exactly what Cai was afraid of happening. But now, he wasn't thinking clearly. When he hit the ground, he stood back up faced Shade. His sword was in a defensive position.

Amber let out a small shriek when she saw Cai hit the ground.

Shade smiled and sped behind Cai. He grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the ground again.

Amber bit her lip to stop herself from bursting into tears, she didn't want to see this happen. She turned around and sat down, trying to ignore what was going on behind her.

Cai rolled as he hit the ground, and stood up. He was obviously no match for Shade. he wasn't fast OR strong enough, and his thinking was clouded.

"What are you thinking about?" Shade minipulated Cai's mind, making see multiple Shades, talking simoultaniously. "Y'know, I'm never going to stop seeing Akira. She's too important to me. But if you think otherwise..." The Shades Cai was seeing disappeared as he punched Cai in the face.

Shade's punch landed square in his nose, causing blood to ooze from his nose. He didn't say anything, but retaliated with a punch of his own.

Amber had turned around when she saw Shade punch Cai, she whimpered. She wasn't used to seeing things like this happen.

The punch landed in his cheek, causing his mouth to bleed. He spat out a dark blood. "You're gunna wish you hadn't done that." He sneered. His eyes looking a little more purple.

Cai ignored him and attacked with his sword.

Shade jumped over the blade and threw him into the alleyway.

Cai hit the side of a building and didn't get up.
