Famliy Reunion... disaster

Shade waited in front of a gate when it opened. A girl that looked alot like Shade with a scared expression ran over to him. She instantly hugged him.

Another girl walked out after her. She looked around curiously. She had long brown hair tied up into two long messy pigtails and emerald eyes. She had two guns in each of her two pockets and a scythe strapped to her back. A couple of cops came and harassed her about it, but she just knocked them away, then spotted the two, and slowly walked over to them.

"Wow..." Shade said, still hugging her. "It's been way too long..."
"I know..." Justine said, crying.

"Sorry to ruin your reunion, but you are the Statris family, no?" The girl asked, walking up to them.

"Yeah, who wants to know?" Shade said. Justine hid behind him.

"Miya Hitsugi's the name. I'm pretty sure you know Jace." She said, holding up a picture of the vampire.

Shade took out a dagger and sliced the picture clean in half. His eyes were red when he blinked. "We'd rather forget."

"Forget?" She said with a laugh as she put the two halves in her pocket.

Shade raised an eyebrow. Justine made a sound and came out from behind Shade. "She's the one hunting Jace." She said.

Miya nodded. "Righto you are." She said, looking at Shade still.

OOC: I want her to be scared of Shade somehow XD

IC: Shade stared at Miya, eyes flashing for a quick second. "You're a human." Justine's eyes widened, staring at Shade. "Shade, please..."

Miya backed away from Shade a couple of steps. "W-Would you really?" She said, starting to panic a little.

Justine made another sound. "He would. Miya, just so you know, getting scared is the worst thing you can do in your current situation. It makes it... worse."
Shade stared blankly at Miya, as Justine tried to get him to stop.

Miya turned away, and stopped panicking. She turned back around again and faced Shade with no expression. Her expressionless mode let her focus, and not let feelings interfere, like her fear.

"That's a bit better..." Justine said as Shade's face gained life again. He still looked in pain though.

Miya shook off her expressionless face. "Anyway.." She said, continuing on what she was saying about hunting Jace, but forgot what she was going to say.

"You're going to have to be more than a human to hunt down Jace." Shade said. "Or any of us, actually."

"I'm no ordinary human. I'm a hunter. I was trained all my life for stuff like this. I've killed a bunch of other vampires before. But.. Jace will be the hardest of them all." Miya said.

"What I ment by 'us' is my family." Shade said. "We arn't ordinary vampires."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Miya said.

"I mean we rank just a bit higher than normal vampires. It's what makes my family 'dangerous'. It's why you can't catch Jace." Shade explained. "You need to be careful, cause he will kill you when he gets the chance."

"Are you underestimating me?" She asked in an annoyed tone.

"Meet me at the lake and prove me wrong." Shade said with a daring smile.

Miya narrowed her eyes at Shade. "I'd love to." She replied.
