Paige felt at peace by the water. She dipped her toes into the water to check the tempature of it. She sighed as warm water lapped over her feet. With her eyes closed, she pushed herself off the peer and into the water.

Leo walked out of the woods bordering the shore line and on to a nearby dock. He was wearing swim trunks and a surf shirt and the sun was annoyed him but he didn't care, he needed to cool off. he quietly ran to the edge of the dock then noiselessly dove in head first.

Dementia was standing a few feet away from the pier, with Snow. I wonder where your other friends have gone.. She thought, thinking back to the day she has gotten Snow.

Paige opened her eyes and peered around calmly. Life was streaming below the surface. She watch a bass swim by and a school of fish dart away from bigger fishes. She spun around and looked up at the surface, seeing frogs skip across the lake and someone swimming around...

Leo layed on his back and closed his eyes as he started to float, the current slowly carrying him towards the pier.

Paige smiled. Being a water caster, she was about to stay under.. Forever, if needed. Also, she was able to manipulate water currents, make waves and whirlpools and such. She decided to play around with the boy, by making a small whirlpool to spin him around.

Leo spun around in circles but just layed there as if nothing was happening.

Snow hadn't answered, just twitched her attenae. Dementia started to frown a bit. She looked up from her spot at the pier and scanned the water.

Paige frowned, wishing the boy would show a more appropriate reaction. She flicked her fingers and water squirted up from the surface, each landing on the boys face. It was as if it had became her goal to annoy him.

Leo quickly sunk underwater then attepmted to swim to the bottom on one breath, he managed to get to the bottom but as he was comeing up a fish startled him and he lost his breath and sudenly started to breath in water.

Paige watched as this happened in surprise. She gasped when he lost his breath and began choking, but it had no effect on her. She skillfully swam over to him, like a fish, and grabbed his wrist as she bagan to make her way to the surface.

Leo had already passed out by the time Paige grabbed him by the wrist and started to drag him towards the surface.

Finally, Paige broke the surface and gasped in air out of pure habit. She pulling the boy into her arms and swam to the shore, with a little help from the currents and a few extra waves. Finally, she carried him unto land and laid him down gently. She was to busy to notice the girl not far away from them.

Leo started to involentarily cough and sputter once his head broke the surface, the water in his lungs wouldn't kill him but he would be incapasitated while it remained.

Paige, being a water caster, had learned CPR long ago because her dad had taught her. She pushed Leo's head back and then without a second thought blew air into his lungs.

Leo coughed up the rest as the water as Paige did this, he looked up and blushed hard then quickly backed away, "Wh-what the heck do you think your doing!" Leo demanded in supprise.

Paige showed no embarrassment, only frowned. "I was doing CPR on you, dude. You nearly drowned." She told him.

"I- I'm a vampire... I can't drown..." Was all Leo was able to say.

Paige raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Really? Cause it looked a little like you were drowning out there."

"I wasn't drowning... I can't..." Leo replied.

Paige bit her lip, trying to hold back her annoyance. "Look, I'm not looking for a thank you, but you don't have to deny it. I'm not gonna make fun of you or anything." Because it might be my fault... "So what's your name?" She asked.

"My name? My name is Elliot Lance Nightray, atho most people just call me Leo, what about you? What's your name?" Leo replied.

Paige smiled and reached out her hand. "Nice to meet you, Leo. My name's Paige Michelle Valdez, if we're getting all specific." She laughed.

"Nice to meet you... I guess." Leo said unshure as he shook her hand.

Dementia looked down at her butterfly, and shielded her face with her hair when the other people appeared.
