Watching the clouds (open)

Lupa laid amongst the flowers, staring up at the sky, watching the clouds in the sky turn pink in the setting sun. She fiddled with her hands, changing their appearance from feathers, to claws, to water, and even stranger things. She enjoyed doing this, because it gave her something to do.

Hikari flew in a ball of fire like a rocket engine. She left a small trail of smoke behind her. Hikari had learned how to use her powers as advantages. This includes flying.
Hikari was an experienced caster. She loved that.

Lupa sat up suddenly, feeling an intense heat and hearing what sounded like a roaring engine, and looked around. In the air was a flying ball of fire, smoke trailing after it, but Lupa knew their was probably a caster of fire nearby, causing it. "Hey!" she called, hoping for a response.

Hikari stopped. Her hands and feet levitating her like engines. She free fell from 200 feet in the air to see if she'd get a reaction.

Lupa realized that the caster was insidethe fire-ball. As she watched, the caster started to free-fall from about 200 feet up. She hoped this was just something that was meant to happen, and that the caster would pull themself out of the fall, but she got ready to help anyway. she ran towards the falling caster, calling to them, "Are you okay?"

Hikari said nothing, but in 30 more feet remaining, she pulled herself up and landed on her feet. Hikari looked at Lupa. "Fine. Why?"

Lupa caught her breath. "Uh, nevermind," she said to the girl in front of her, then she smiled,"I'm Lupa, who are you?"

"Hikari" She said, shaking the excess fire off of her hands.

Lupa's eyes twinkled," I've heard of you,"she said ," I hear you're an accomplished caster. I can also see that."

"Thank you. " Hikari said. "You're a shapeshifter." She guessed.

"Yep," she said. Her hands flickered, turning into wolf paws, then back to human hands.

"I thought so..." Hikari said.

Lupa looked at the sky," look at the clouds, aren't they pretty?" one of them caught her eye, "Doesn't that one look like a wolf?"

Another fireball flew through the sky, but it wasn't a caster.

Lupa blinked, "Did you do that?"

"No..." Hikari grinned. "She did..."

"Who?" she said, staring into Hikari's eyes, questioning and curious.

The fireball landed in front of them. Out came a fox.

"is this your's?" Lupa said, watching the fox.

"Yep..." Hikari said. "Skye! Skateboard!" She said. The fox ran off.

Lupa watched the fox run off, Wondering what it was doing.

The fox came back riding a skateboard.

"Woah, did you train her yourself?" Lupa said, thinking to herself,I wonder if I could get Storm to do something like that...

"Yeah... She's a caster too y'know." Hikari said, proud of the fox. "Skye! Firefox!" She commanded. The fox bursted into flames, but covered in flames, she just sat there.

"Whoa, that's awesome,"Lupa said. Her hands started morphing again.
