In the Park

Lucy was sleeping on a park bench, the sun was just coming up and there was dew on the ground, the night before had been freezing cold, and Lucy lay there shivering with nothing on but a torn skirt and a t-shirt that looked as if it had been torn many times, and an old blanket wrapped tightly around herself.

Kai was taking his nightly walk. He recognized Lucy. His eyes widened as he ran to her side, and kneeled down beside her. "What happened?" He asked quietly.

Lucy began to thrash around in her sleep and the blaket fell off of her, the tears and whip marks on the back of her shirt were visible.

Kai shook Lucy to try to wake her up.

Lucy sat bolt upright, she noticed Kai a few moments later and blushed, she looked down at her clothes and hid under the blanket.

Kai put his hands on each of her shoulders. "Please, tell me." He said in the sincerest voice he ever had used.

"T-thank you." Lucy said as she took of the blanket and draped it over he shoulders, her long ears poked out from benieth her hair.

Kai smiled. "So.." He said, sitting beside her on the bench.

(OOC: Kai could move out of Cai's house and then Lucy and Kai could find a house to live in together. c:)

Lucy hugged Kai and burried her head in his chest and cried joyful tears.

Lucy looked up and stared into Kai's eyes with tears in hers.
