The baby's coming!

Lucy was sleeping on a bench in the park when her water broke, Lucy woke soon woke up and noticed, "Pease no, not now." Lucy said panic stricken.

A woman was walking with her little girl by her side, holding hands. She noticed Lucy, and what she said. "Ma'am, you okay? Wait, are you.." The woman's voice trailed off.

"Please, help me." Lucy said as she tried painfully to get up.

"Are you pregnant?" The woman asked, letting go of her child to help Lucy up.

"Yes, nine months... Me and my boyfriend got ina fight and broke up... I wish he was here now..." Lucy said

"Oh, I see. I'll help you to the hospital then. My cat is over there, I'll help you to walk over to it." She said, helping Lucy up and leaning her against her shoulder. They slowly started to walk to the car.

"Th-thank you... May I ask what your name is?" Lucy said as she got in the car

"Anna, and this is my daughter, Isabelle." She said, looking over to her young daughter that was curiously watching Lucy.

Lucy smiled at Isabelle then whinced, "Please hurry..." Lucy begged.

Anna nodded. She went to the drivers seat and got in. Isabelle got in her seat at the back. They started to drive off to the hospital.

Lucy cried out in agony as as she was struck by a contraction.

"It's okay, we're almost there." Anna soothed her. They arrived moments after in the emergency room. The woman helped Lucy into the hospital, with her daughter following behind.

Lucy screamed again as she was hit by another contraction, "PLEASE!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!" She screamed.

A nurse came with a wheelchair and put Lucy in it. "What's wrong?" The nurse asked. Anna watched Lucy. "Want me to be with you through it? It helps when a person is there for you." Anna said.

Lucy glared angrilly at the nurse then turned to Anna, "What I really want is for my friend Kai to be here..." Lucy said.

"I can't be sure he will come.. But I can accompany you." Anna said. "I know Kai. I could call him right now and see if he could come, but in the meantime, she could accompany you." The nurse added.

"Ok..." Lucy said

They went to a room, and Lucy was put on a bed. Anna held her hand. "I'm sure he'll come." She said. Annabelle finally spoke up. "What's happening to her, mommy?" She asked. "She's going to have a baby." Her mother replied.

Lucy meerly noded and tightly gripped Anna's hand in pain.

They waited for about forty minutes until Kai finally came. He walked into the door and stared down at the floor and walked up to Lucy. Anna nodded and walked out of the room with Annabelle.

"I'm so glad you came... Kai..." Lucy said as she saw him walk in.

Kai walked up to her bed and dropped down, burying his head in the mattress. He grabbed her hand. "I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to.." He mumbled.

"I'm sorry too but now isn't the time to be appoligising..." Lucy said.

Kai looked up at her. A tear went down his face. "I really am sorry.." He said quieter then before.

"It's ok, I forgive you..." Lucy said, as she hugged him.
