Just Sittin' at the lake for no reason at all

Akira tilted her head down and tried to smile. "Yeah." Her voice echoed.

"You gotta be optimistic, Akira," Cai said lightly.

Akira nodded. "But the true power of the evils are.." Her voice faded, flash backs of the silver haired vampire. She shook them out of her head.

"Don't think about that," Cai said, trying to cheer her up.

Akira tilted her head back up. "Okay.." She replied.

Cai smiled, but remained silent.

Akira layed down, she closed her eyes as the breeze blew through her hair.

Cai dozed off.

Akira opened her eyes and looked over to see Cai asleep. She giggled.

Cai was dreaming that he was riding horses with his father and brother. Happy times...

Akira saw him smile in his dreams. She sat up and stared at lake.

Cai was happy. He wished he could stay in this dream forever

Akira closed her eyes, and instinctively crept into his dream using telepathy. She appeared in his dream, across a lake beside where he was. She smiled while watching them.

Cai didn't see Akira yet. He was racing with his family, and he was winning.

Akira's smile slowly faded as she stood up and started to walk into the forest beside it.

They sprinted around to the other side of the lake. Osi pulled up beside his brother, and they stayed neck-and neck until Zelink, Cai's horse, drew in front. He was going to win... then he saw Akira. "Akira?" he called, slowing down slightly.

Akira stopped and turned around, then waved. She forgot how awkward it would be for him for her to appear in a memory of his in his dream.

"What are you doing here Akira?" cai asked. He had come to a complete stop, and so had Osi and their father.

Akira stopped waving, and realized. "Oh, uh, well I guess I appeared here, this is your dream, afterall." She replied. Akira didn't lie, if it wasn't for Cai wanting her there, she wouldn't be able to go there.

Before Cai could respond, his father said,"Who's this Cai?" "She's...um a friend of mine dad.." Cai said akwardly.

"I'm actually his wife slave, that he has in his dungeon in his basement.I'm Akira." She said slowly.

"No silly, You can't be in my dungeon basement, that's where Scar is!Akira, this is my dad, Linus," Cai said, trying to give a proper introduction.

Akira nodded her head to Linus to show her respect. "Nice to meet you, Linus." She said.

Linus responded simply," The pleasure's all mine."

Akira smiled, changing her gaze from each of them. She missed her parents.
