Talking with Mika (Me, Mika and Cai only)

(OOC: We'll just continue from this topic.)

Akira stood up aswell, and walked in the right way for once, leading them to the Windtown diner.

bic,: Cai mindlessly followed her. He was still in shock..

Akira led them into the diner. She sat down at a table and grabbed a menu, then started to read it.

Cai sat down across from her and stared at the menu blankly.

"Do you want some cake? Cake cheers everyone up!" She said, trying to make him laugh.

"Sure," Cai said. He didn't even smile.

"Cmon, at least smile.. It sadens me to see you like this." She said to him.

Cai didn't respond. At the moment, the normal Cai had left, and was replaced by this pathetic creature.

"Cai~" She said, trying to get his attention. She finally knew what to do to get ahold of him. "Cai, I only have two days to live." Akira said as seriously as she could.

Cai barely registered the words. He didn't even fully understand what she was saying. "What?" He said, more like someone who was half-asleep than a concerned friend.

"That thing about Mika.. really bothers you, doesn't it." Akira sighed.

"What do you think?" Cai snapped at her, then he started crying again.

"Sorry, sorry." She said, handing him a handkerchief that her mother had gave her before she had got murdered. "Here." Akira said.

Cai took it, but didn't say anything. He stared at it blankly.

A waiter came to their table. "Two chocolate strawberry cakes please." She said, looking to him. Her mother used to love that kind. The waiter walked away again to get their order. She looked back to Cai.

Cai was still staring uncomprehendingly at the handkerchief.

"What?" She asked.

"huh?" Cai asked, looking up at Akira. His eyes showed how confused and sad he was.

"You were just staring at it." Akira replied. The waiter came back and handed them their chocolate strawberry cake.

"I was?" Cai said, totally lost. He didn't even notice the cake.

"Yeah." She said, looking at the handkerchief, then to the cake.

Cai handed it back to her, still not noticing the cake.

"You can keep it for now." She said. Akira looked back to the cake. "You going to eat?" She asked, grabbing a fork and taking a chunk out of hers and ate it.

Cai looked down nd noticed the cake. He took a bite, but the flavor didn't make an impression on him.

Akira watched him as he took a bite. She frowned.
