Ten years and I'm still working here

"Well I'll give you the short version. Lucy was an elf girl that looked a bit like you; you of corse being prettier. Anyway she had a crush on Cai and he kinda liked her back, regardless Lucy was a little bit sensitive and misunderstood an akward position Cai was in one day, Needless to say he's got fan girls or had anyway but that's another story. Overall she was a good friend of ours. So now you know, Cai's got a thing for elf girls." John said.

Liyra blushed a little at the last part.

"Could you lay her on the bed Cai so I can check her ankle?" John asked as they got to the room.

"Uh, yeah," Cai muttered. He was lost thinking about Lucy and all that happened with her. Cai put Liyra on the bed and went off to sit in one of the chairs in the room.

OOC: forgot to mention in an OOC that Lucy and Alica died in a house fire.

IC: "Now this is going to hurt a little but I need to check your ankle ok." John said as he started to meticulously poke and prod Liyra's ankle.

Liyra tried her best not to yelp or anything but it was obvious that it was painful.

About a minute later John stopped and turned to Cai, "Good news is that it's just bruised. I'll write her up for some painkillers, should be about fifteen to thirty dollars but atleast it's better then a hundred doller hospital bill." John said before he went to go get the medication.

Cai nodded. "A lot better, actually." he said. He was silent for a moment after John left, then looked at Liyra. "So..." he said, not sure what to talk about.

"D-Do you really have a thing for elf girls like he said?" Liyra asked not sure what to really talk about either.

"He's just messin' around. I don't really have a 'thing' for any particular type of girl," Cai said. His mind was floating around in the past, with Lucy, Mika, Akira, and Neyomi.

"Oh. well um-" She sarted to say before John came back.

"Ok I'm back and by law I'm required to go through a list of possible side effects but I'll shorten it for you. Possible side effects include but are not limedted to: drowsines, nausea, headaches and well you get the drill and you probbly won't get any of them except mabey drowsieness." He said as he tossed the pill bottle to Liyra, "All you need to know is up there go ahead and take one now. Cai you can pay me later."

Liyra opened the bottle and took a pill then waited for Cai to come pick her up or something.

OOC: can we like takes sime time to RP them walking back?

ooc: Sure

"Sure. I'll pay you as soon as I can," Cai said. "Alright, let's get you home," Cai said as he picked up Liyra and carried her away.

OOC: XD Cai doesn't even know where she lives.

IC: They were half way back to the store when Liyra started to cling lightly to Cai's shirt. "I feel so sleepy..." she mumbled while nodding off.

Cai stopped, realizing a flaw in his plan. "Don't fall asleep, I don't know where you live!" Cai said.

By the time cai had said anything it was to late. Liyra had already layed her head against Cai's chest and fallen asleep; lulled in but the strength and security of Cai's arms.

Cai sighed. What am I supposed to do now? Lydia's probably already gone home, and I have no idea where this girl lives! he thought. He decided to just keep walking, and hope Liyra woke up soon.

ooc: Last resort, Cai has here sleep on his couch

Ooc: That was my idea.

Liyra squirmed aroud a little and got comfortable but didn't wake up.

Ooc: sorry for not saying too much i couldnt think of anything.

Cai ended up walking all the way back to his house, and Liyra was still asleep. He decided to put her on the couch and go to bed himself.

Timeskip

Cai was having dreams of the past, mostly memories of conversations with Mika, Lucy, and Akira. Then, suddenly, they were all yelling at him. Abruptly, he woke up and rolled over. And then he was face-to-face with Liyra. "WHAT THE?!" he exclaimed in surprise and rolled off the bed.

Liyra blinked awake sleepily and looked around, "h-huh? How did i... where am I?" She mumbled to herself as she slowly sat up.

Cai was feeling his way across the floor, looking for his pants and shirt. He found his jeans, but seemed to have lost the T-shirt from the day before. After pulling his pants on, which took a lot of effort when he was sitting on the floor, He stood up and glared at Liyra. "Now, can you explain to me, why the hell were you IN MY BED?" he said angrily. Because it was dark, Liyra couldn't see his face, but he was blushing slightly.

Liyra yelped in fear and fell off the bed; hurting her already bruised ankle in the process. "I-I dont know! The last thing I remember is a hospital. Please dont hurt me!" She said crying but it was hart to see it in the dark.

Cai sighed, relaxing himself. He started to glow, lighting the room up so Liyra could see. "I'm not going to hurt you, you just scared me," he said.

"I think that im more scared then you are, i meen I dont even know how I got here." Liyra said tears still in the codners of her eyes.

"You were probably sleepwalking; I left you on the couch, which, frankly, is two rooms and a hallway away from where we are right now," he said.

"But why am i in your house?" She asked, nerviosly standing up, "Um... can you mabey put a shirt on?" She asked blushing.

"Uh, yeah," he mumbled, going to his closet and finding a new shirt. "You fell asleep on the way back to the shop, you weren't going to wake up any time soon, and I didn't know where you live, so I brought you here and put you on the couch," Cai explained as he pulled on his shirt.

"Well I guess that makes sense, Well I don't want to be a nusaince so I guess I'll just go home now and get changed. I'll see you at work later." Liyra said but her stomach groweled loudly before sh could start to leave.

"No, I'm going to make you breakfast. What kind oh host would I be if I let my guest leave hungry?" he said and led the way to the kitchen.

"Ok, I guess I'll stay for breakfast." she said as she tried to follow Cai, colapsing as son as she put weight on her injured ankle.
