Just sitting around the shop

Liyra fell to her knees and held her arm like a wounded animal, her head was down and her eyes clenched shut as if in pain or out of fear.

Cai dropped his own sword and crouched down beside her. "Hey, I didn't hurt you that bad, did I?" he asked.

In one quick and fluid motion Liyra grabbed the sword she had dropped then pushed Cai down useing all of her weight and laying ontop of him then she gently slid the sword up to his neck. "I win, and don't worry it doesn't really hurt." she chuckled lightheartedly.

Cai smiled. "Good job," he said simply, not resisting her, " I guess I should be more cautious next time."

"No but really Cai it did kinda hurt. But it's ok, I forgive you." Liyra said as she tossed the sword aside and layed her head on Cai's chest.

Cai hugged her. "Well, as long as I'm forgiven..." he said.

Liyra blushed a little and nodded smileing.

Cai started to stroke her hair.

Liyra started to doze off comfortably but didn't quite fall asleep.

Lydia then quickly burst into the room, "What happened!? I heard yelling and loud noises!" She shouted as she looked around before noticeing Cai and Liyra. She blushed in frustration. "You jerk! You're trying to take advantage of Liyra again aren't you!?" she shouted.

Liyra remained quiet, hopeing that Cai could explain for her.

Cai had also started to doze off. He blinked at Lidya. "Uh...what are you talking about?" he asked.

"Don't What me! You were tying to take advantage of Liyra!" She yelled as she grabbed Liyra forcefully by the wrist.

"Ow, Lydia let go, it hurts." Liyra wimpered, still half asleep.

"I was not! And what do you mean 'again'? I've never taken advantage of her!" Cai said, fully awake now.

Lydia blinked a few times then acctually looked at what was going on, "Oh. I see what's going on here~ I'm sorry for interupting, I'll leave you two alone now." Lydia said smileing slightly as she let Liyra go an walked out of the room.

"Uh, I think I just missed something," Cai said as Lydia left.

Liyra sat there blushing, it was obvious she knew what Lydia ment but she didn't say anything.

Cai didn't say anything more, he just went back to stroking Liyra's hair.

She thought that me and Cai were going to? I meen- I wouldn't mind, bit it's just. Liyra thought to herself as she started to blush a little harder, "So? Um? Cai? Uh? R-Remember the time you took me to snowville?" Liyra asked trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I remember...I got covered in snow," he said, smiling to show he was joking with her.

"Um, dod you remember that cave with all of the pretty crystals that we went to? Um, why were you so jumpy then? If you don't mind me asking that is." Liyra asked.

Cai's smile drooped slightly. Should I tell her? he thought, What if she doesn't like it? What if.... "Well, that's, uh, Nevermore Cave," he said, then paused, "there are some casters that are immortal. We call them Forevers. And...Nevermore cave is the only place a Forever can die." He stopped there, not wanting to tell her about his immortality for fear she would reject him.

"But then.. Why would you? ..Unless" Liyra mumbled to heself as she put two and two together and started to quietly cry.

"Come on Liyra, don't cry," he said, hugging her again, knowing she figured it out.

"Get off of me!" She shouted violently as she pushed Cai away and stood up. she turned to run away but then fell to her knees crying, "Wh-What am I to you? Just another girl?" Liyra asked sobbing.

OOC: Just so you know she's not painting Cai the bad guy. If anything she feels sorry for him and doesn't want to put him through any pain. But at the same time she really loves him and wants to know if he really honestly and truely loves him back and she wants him to love her. It's a little confuseing but she's in an emotional distress.

Cai sat up and looked at Liyra, not knowing what to do or say. Tears started to form in his eyes. "Liyra, it's not like that. You mean a lot more to me than that," he said finally, hoping he chose the right words

"But how? How could you do that knowing that You would outlive me, that you would eventually end up watching me die no matter what? Why.. Why would you do that to yourself!? Why would you make you youself suffer knowing that I'm going to die and you're not! I'm not good enough for your love if all it's going to to is make you suffer in the end.." Liyra said as she started to sob harder.
