Guess who!?

"Cai is helping Liyra to the bathroom. Poor girl is having a hard time breathing because of the baby." Lucy replied in a careing tone.

"Well, I guess that makes sense," Osi said, not very well educated on pregnant women.

"There's some food left if you're hungry." Lucy said.

Osi nodded and went to the kitchen to find food. Then Cai and Liyra came back. Cai was now carrying Liyra. He set her down in the chair she had previously been in.

Liyra sat there blushing deeply, "Y-You didn't have to help me with everything you know! I'm pregnant, not helpless." Liyra whined in an embarassed tone.

"Well, you asked for my help," he said.

"B-But I didn't meen..." Liyra said trailing off as her blush got deeper.

Cai waved his hand as if to say Whatever, doesn't matter now.

Just then Lucy stood up, "Um Alica, I think it' about time that we were leaving."

"Aww but Mommy.." Alica whined.

"No buts, we've imposed long enough." Lucy said sternly.

"You know, we don't really mind you staying. We've got plenty of room, plenty of food, as always," Cai said, though he didn't expect Lucy to stay.

"No Cai, we've stayed long enough, plus you hae a fiancee and a baby due. I don't feel welcome here." Lucy explained.

"Well, if that's the way you feel," he let the words trail off, " but where are you going to go?"

"We'll figure something out Cai." Lucy replied Stubornly as she started to walk out of the door with Alica in tow.

Cai folded his arms and gave her a stern look. "Now, you know I can't just let you leave in the hopes that you'll 'figure something out'. What kind of friend would I be if I did?"

"Cai. You and I both know how I used to act around you. Staying here would just make things uncomfortable eventually." Lucy explained.

"And you and I both know where you'll end up if I let you go off with nowhere to go," he responded. "Frankly, I don't think that's a nice option."

"Cai please.. I-I don't want to be a reminder to you of everything that happened back then." Lucy said as she layed her back against the wall and slid down.

Cai gave her a genuine, concerned smile. "But that's in the past. I don't mind you being around. And I certainly don't want you out on the streets because of something that happened years ago," he said.

Lucy flopped onto her side and almost cried for a little bit, she idn't understand why Cai didn't want her gone. She quickly fell asleep though, not hadhaveing muh to begin with.

Cai just watched, not sure what else to say. Once she fell asleep, he wondered if he should move her back to the couch or not.

knelt beside he bother and shook her gently, "Mommy? Mommy please wake up." She pleaded.

"It's alright. Mommy's just tired," Cai said gently, kneeling down next to Alica

"But... A-Are you sure?" Alica asked, the worry on her face was evident but it only served to make her look cuter.
