A Starlit Night

Cai nodded and grabbed Neyomi by the shoulders, lifting her onto the gurney.

"You like her don't you? Or she like you. Am I right?" John said as he pulled the gurney's guardrails up.

"She likes me," Cai said simply.

"Your a lucky man, it's hard to find someone that loves you now a days." John said as he started to push the gurney and the IV to the Coma ward.

Cai followed him, shaking his head. "Sometimes i think there are too many girls chasing me," he said, mostly to himself.

"Mabey cause you keep showing up like a knight in shineing armor, and last time I checked Lucy found a boyfriend, so that would only leave Neyomi." John said

Cai shrugged. "still, i don't want her chasing me around when i have mika," Cai said.

"Neyomi is nothing like Lucy, Neyomi is the kind of person that puts on a smile and acts happy, but she'll cry when she's sure no one's watching and she'll forget to eat, drink and sleep untill it kills her." John said.

Cai sighed, not wanting to say what he was thinking.

"Cai, I know you've got something on your mind, I have a wife, I know these things, so please tell me, what is it?" John said.

"I've been an idiot, okay? A stupid, insensitive, idiot," Cai said angrily.

"What do you meen?" John asked as they arrived at the Coma ward.

"I kinda already told her about Mika, okay? i'm just a plain idiot when it comes to this stuff," Cai said.

"And let me guess, you blame yourself for this right?" John asked.

"In a way, yeah," Cai said.

"Listen man, you may have made her cry but that's all your guilty of, it's not your fault she has typhus and it's not your fault she's in a coma. Now do you mind helping me grt her onto the bed?" John said as he positioned the gurned besied the hospital bed.

Cai just shrugged and gently grabbed onto Neyomi's shoulders.

John grabbed Neyomi by the legs and lifted her up then set her down on the bed.

Cai sighed again. "I really hope she survives. Otherwise..." Cai muttered to himself.

"Otherwise what?" John asked worriedly.

Cai shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I'm just making empty threats again," he said.

"Good." John said relived, "If you want, I can leave you alone to talk with her, I meen I know she probably can't hear you but some people think it helps bring them back." John said.

Cai nodded. "Alright," he said, dragging a chair over and sitting down.

"Ok, I'll be waiting out side if you need anything." John said as he left the room.

Cai sighed as John left and looked down at Neyomi. "I'm sorry Neyomi. I've been an idiot," he said.
