A Starlit Night

"Oh great," Cai muttered.

Neyomi looked up at Cai, "Help.. me.." she wispered.

"yeah..yeah..um," Cai mumbled, looking around for something.

Lucy dragged herself up onto the shore besie them, "Um, Cai... Your not gonna be happy but there was a leak in the boat and it sunk and the boat Neyomi came in is gone." Lucy Said.

"Please... Cai.. It hurts." Neyomi said, her voice was as quiet as a whisper.

"What hurts?" Cai asked her gently, ignoring Lucy for the moment. He had an easy solution to that problem.

"Everything.." she said shivering badly, "S-so c-c-cold."Neyomi mumbled.

"We need blankets," Cai said, shivering a little more. He whistled, and after a moment, a horse had landed on the shore.

Neyomi tried to stand up but was too lightheaded and lost her balance and fell towards Cai.

Cai caught her and laid her back on the ground. "Lie still, okay?" Cai said, and walked over to his horse. "Good boy," Cai whispered in Hylais. There were a few blankets on Zelink's back, and now cai took them from the horse and wrapped them around neyomi.

Neyomi leaned on Cai when he finished wraping her in the blankets.

Cai let her lean on him for the time being.

Neyomi blushed and looked away, "Um.. I'm sorry Cai." Neyomi said embarasedly.

"Sorry for what?" He asked.

Neyomi's ears layed flat "I kinda had to... pee." She said.

Cai felt something warm on him. "Oh no," he muttered under his breath."well, this is awkward," he said, standing up. Behind them, Zelink was snorting in laughter.

"I'm really sorry Cai." Neyomi said.

"Nah, it's okay," Cai said. Zelink was snorting hysterically now.

"Can you please make your horse thing be quiet, all of that noise is hurting my head." Neyomi said.

Cai glared at Zelink and he was immediately quiet.

"Cai, why are you here, I meen why did you come to the lake?" Neyomi asked.

"Well, I was worried when i woke up this morning and saw the note you left. Then Lucy came over and was worried about you too," Cai said.

"It ok I'm fine, see." Neyomi coughed as she stood up but soon lost he balance and fell and scraped her knee, tearing a large hole in the leg of her pants, "I'm so useless!" she mumbled angrilly.

"No, you're not fine. Lie down and rest a little, okay?" Cai said.

Neyomi vomited untill she couldn't anymore, then she started to cough up blood, "Cai, if I don't make it off this island I just want you to know something." She said, she looked weak and pitiful, blood flowed from the corner of her mouth and her eyes were dull and lifeless.

"No, you'll make it off of here. I won't let you die, okay?" Cai said, "but don't push yourself right now, okay?"
