A Starlit Night

"Well, last night, we were down at the river, then we went to my house, and then we where at the lake," Cai listed everywhere they had been.

"Ok were do you live, I meen what's your address?" Donna asked.

"24 Oaklane, here in Windtown," Cai said.

"Well guess what, your house is going to get a free fumigation, Now a docter will be here shortly to see you." Donna said

"Alright," Cai said and sat down in a chair.

"I hope Neyomi survives this, she's just so young." Lucy said.

"Yeah, me too," Cai said, glancing over as the limp figure of Neyomi.

John soon walked into the room not looking at them ,"Ok so what is it this ti... Cai? Lucy? Neyomi!?" John said as he looked up from the medical clip board and noticed them.

"Just take care of her first, okay?" Cai said, pointing to Neyomi.

John just stood there dumbfounded, "I heard that a Neko had been admited but I never thought it would be Neyomi, I havn't seen her since the orphanage." John said.

"What? Wait, nevermind that, she's dying, John. Do something!" Cai said.

"Oh yeah right." John said as he hooked Neyomi up to a bunch of machines, "Ok, she should be fine now, she appears to be in a Coma so she can't feel any pain." John said.

"Okay, good. Now, I'm guessing Lucy and I are stuck here?" Cai said.

"Yeah and so am I since I forgot to put on a Haz-Mat suit before I came in here, I just hope Neyomi survives this." John said.

"Well, at least she isn't dead yet. We gotta hope for the best, right?" Cai said, leaning agaisnt a wall.

"Yeah... I'm just suppried you two aren't asking me how I know her." John said.

"Does it really matter? But, sense you've brought it up, how DO you know her?" Cai said.

"We were friends back in the human world. Tell me, when you first met her how old did she say she was?" John said.

"She said she was 13, why?" Cai said.

"I see... then nothing's changed..." John mumbled loud enough for Cai to hear.

"What do you mean 'nothing's changed,'" Cai asked suspiciously.

"She may look and act like a 13 year old but she's acctually 19." John said.

"WHAT?" Cai said, suddenly standing up.

"It's kind of hard to explain but sometimes when female Neko's hit pubety at the age of 13 they just stop ageing, they're basicly like Post-Pubesint 13 year old girl both phisically and emotionally for the rest of their live, Neyomi is in that category, she's 19 now but when she was 15 and acctually knew how old she was there was an acciedent, She was walking back to the orphanage one night, is were we both worked and lived, when a car hit her, after that she thought she was 13." John explained.

"Wow, that's a lot to think about," Cai said, sitting back down.
